Export .csv or .pdf from QB Remote
Whether you want to export a .csv or .pdf from QB Remote, the menu options are the same, but due to running QB on the remote server instead of your local PC, navigating to the location to save will be slightly different.
For the following instructions, we will be using an example of exporting a .csv from a report.
- ExcelàCreate New Worksheet.

- Create a .csv file. Note: saving as a native Excel file is not an option, as there is no Microsoft Office license or installation on the remote session server.

- Tricky part: your computer name will be different, but be sure to navigate to “C on … to save it to your computer. Otherwise it will be saved on the server, then lost.

- To save to your Desktop or Documents, navigate to C:\Users\, then your name.

- In this example, the User Name is user. Yours will be different.

- In the C:\Users\user folder on this computer, you can see Desktop, Documents etc. so the file can be saved locally. That’s it for exporting files from QB Remote!
